Creating Your New Account
To begin your journey, simply enter your name, email, and create a password. This will open the door to your customer account.
Email Verification – A Vital Step
After registering, you'll receive an email asking you to verify access to your provided email address. This step ensures a secure connection between you and your new account. If verification isn't completed, a gentle reminder banner will appear within your account. Should you no longer have access to the email you signed up with, it’s best to create a new account with your correct email address to avoid any disruptions.
Accessing Your Membership
Once verified, you'll log into your gated customer account, where the content tied to your membership plan awaits.
What to Expect Upon Logging In
Upon logging in, the Customer Account panel will gracefully appear on the right side of the screen. Here, you can click on Digital Products to explore and enjoy all the gated content that comes with your chosen membership. Need to update your information? Head to Profile to review your account details at any time.
Once logged in, customers can find their account panel in the top right-hand corner of the screen. From there, you’ll have access to important details like your Digital Products, and Orders, personal information such as address, and other profile settings. If customers haven’t verified their email yet, they may see a verification notification.

How members review their memberships
Members can view and manage their memberships from their customer account. After logging in:
Click Account to review account settings, all purchases, and profile.
Click Digital Products to review membership start date, pricing plan details, and click a link to the course overview page, blog page, videos page, or member site homepage.
If you have purchased a pricing plan with a recurring subscription, or fixed amount with remaining installments, the following details also appear:
Renewal date - The date of your next recurring subscription or installment payment
Frequency - How often you pay recurring subscription or installment payments to maintain access to the digital product
Price - The cost of the pricing plan
Payment method - Members can click this link to manage their saved billing information
How members change their email addresses
Members can change their email address when logged into their account. Member accounts work the same as customer accounts and follow the same rules.
Customers change their account email address as follows:
Click Sign in to log into their account.
Click Account, then click Profile.
Click their current email address.
In the New field, enter the new email address.
In the Confirm new field, enter the new email address again.
Click Save.
Watch for an email to verify the change to their new email address. Click Verify email in the message to complete the process.
The verification email is valid for 48 hours. If your customer needs more time to verify their email address, they can return to the Email panel and click Resend verification email.
How members cancel their memberships
When a member cancels their membership, the member won’t receive a refund for payments already made. If the pricing plan has remaining subscription payments (either recurring or installments), all upcoming payments will be automatically canceled.
Log into your customer account.
Click Account, then click Digital products or Subscriptions.
Click the digital product you want to cancel.
If you have remaining payments, click Go manage subscription. Otherwise, move to the next step.
Click Cancel subscription, then click Cancel subscription again to confirm.
When a member cancels their membership, they'll keep access to gated content for the remainder of the billing cycle. At the end of the billing cycle, their account fully expires. They'll still have access to their customer account, but links to digital product content won't display.
Members on fixed-amount and free pricing plans can't cancel their subscriptions. On a fixed-amount plan, either paid in full or in installments, members retain access to the content indefinitely.
Logging in from the order status page
Customers can also log in or create an account from the order status page. When you visit the page, you’ll have the option to enter your email address and a confirmation code that's included in the order confirmed email. After you do this, you can review the billing and shipping details for the order. Then, you can log in or create a new account with those details.
Saved payment methods
Customers, members, and donors can save payment methods during checkout, or by logging into their account. If they don't have an account, they'll have the option to create one during checkout.
*Only account holders can edit their saved payment information and shipping addresses. Site admin can't edit this information on their behalf.
Customers can change or add their payment method in the account menu. How they make the change depends on if their payment method is in use on an active membership or subscription.
Change the payment method for an active membership or subscription
To change the card that an active membership or subscription charges, customers can:
Log into their customer account.
Click Account in the navigation menu.
Click Memberships or Subscriptions, then click the membership or subscription they want to change.
In Settings, click Payment method.
Click Update payment method, then select a saved payment method or click Add new payment method to enter a new payment method.
Click Save.
The next payment for the membership or subscription will charge to the updated card. If the customer has more than one membership or subscription, please repeat the steps above to update the card on each one.
Change or add a saved payment method for future purchases
To add a payment method to accounts for future use, customers can:
Log into their customer account.
Click Account in the navigation menu.
Click Payment.
Click a payment method listed in the menu to edit the information, delete it, or set it as default.
Click Add new payment method to add a new card to their account. In the Card details panel, they enter the new payment method's information.
Click Save.
This adds a new payment method to their account that they can use for future purchases. Adding a credit card in the Payment panel doesn't change the card that's charged for any active subscriptions or memberships.
Apple Pay
Because Apple Pay is built for a quick checkout experience, account holders can’t log into their account during an Apple Pay checkout. If they’re already logged in, they can complete checkout normally.
PayPal
It's not possible to save PayPal accounts to a customer account.
How members log out
To log out of customer accounts, members click Account, then Sign out. After logging out, you'll be redirected to our site's homepage.
Depending on the browser, members may be automatically logged out of their customer accounts after they've been inactive for a certain length of time.
FAQ
Can visitors check out without an account?
Yes. Logging into an account at checkout is optional. Customers and donors without accounts on your site can check out as a guest.
What happens when an account holder places an order or donation while logged out?
When that person logs into their own account, however, orders or donations placed while logged out won’t be included in their order history.
